Your donation or your referral to a donor or funding organization can be instrumental in impacting the lives of children. Ours is a movement for greater reading and learning capacity that even in its infancy has already touched thousands of children.
You can help start a revolution in the rethinking, restructuring and reforming of education that will impact the lives of millions of children. You can begin by helping one child. Individual sponsorships (1) prevent reading difficulties, (2) screen children for learning needs and (3) meet learning needs.
Individual Sponsorships
(1) You can help children have the core skills they need to become proficient readers. Currently sponsors have made it possible for a parent to register and have access to Sound Analysis for their child. This exercise builds the Phonemic Awareness Skill Set the child needs to succeed in phonics and reading instruction. This alone is the starting point for a revolution in 3rd grade reading success. Support this offer for a child. $25.00
(2) You can help children with a universal cognitive skills evaluation. Getting similar results from privately obtained testing would cost $250+ up to $1,000 per child. The assessment we offer has a retail price of $89.95 in clinics and is offered online for $29.95 per child. It takes about 35 minutes. Through a special arrangement, any time an evaluation is purchased online through Cognitive First™ a lower-income, under-resourced child is sponsored for a matching evaluation in a participating organization. Any child age seven and up can be tested. Sponsor two children. $30.00
Sponsoring children can literally change their lives and their futures and it does so within an organization that already cares for them and is positioned to not only impact them but their families as well.
(3) You can serve lower-income, under-resourced and at-risk students with comprehensive online brain-training exercises. Similar programs to the one we offer cost thousands of dollars more than our sponsorship package. Provide a comprehensive training exercise set for one child. $300.00
As a sponsor for individual children your personal gift of $300 or $25 per month for a year can (1) prevent reading difficulties for 12 children or (2) provide cognitive skill screening for 20 children or (3) give life-changing cognitive skill exercises to one child.

School and After-School Program Sponsorships
Your larger gift to initiate a school or after-school program will be multiplied in a five-to-one match from participating Cognitive First™ partners who are private foundations, corporate donors, or community organizations. Each $2,000 program implementation fee is matched so that the entire $12,000 wholesale value of the reading and learning package is made available to a qualified school or after-school program.
As a nation we invest over $120,000 in a child’s k-12 education and all too often we fail to see measureable or even meaningful results. The dropout percentage is beyond a crisis and climbing. With a one time investment of $2,000 you will be the catalyst to reverse the trend and make reading readiness a reality for 100 children. Your gift will also be matched to enable the evaluation of the skills of 300 children and ten of those children who are already at-risk will be provided with a complete comprehensive training program. Because of you and our matching gift partners, children in 10 entire schools or programs will be impacted for the cost we currently invest in one child’s k-12 education. Your investment as a Cog1st Champion will pay dividends in changed lives!
Cog1st Champions
It is our hope that in the future every child who needs stronger reading and learning skills will get the help they need, but for now it will not happen for some children without your help. Join with our matching fund providers to make it happen. Matching funds are only made available when a Cog1st Champion does their part with a gift to impact a school, schools or an entire community.
As a Cog1st Champion you can impact an entire school or community by introducing life-changing training in one of the levels below. And when you do you will be helping to change lives, families, communities and ultimately the educational and economic future of our nation. On average each school that starts a CogRead Campaign raises awareness and can impact the reading and learning futures of 300 students.
